Hi Dropbox community - I'm a design researcher here at Dropbox. I'm curious about how you access Dropbox! How do you access Dropbox: the website, the desktop app (for mac/windows), and/or the mobile app (iOS, android)? For those you use, why do you use them? For those you don't, why not? Is there anything you wish you could do on one that you can't today? Why?9.5KViews6likes11CommentsDropbox Invoices - generating invoices
I am a freelancer and I use Dropbox as my main set of tools. It would be great to be able to create an invoice on Dropbox and send it to my client. All my invoices would be stored in one place and accessible on all my connected devices. It would create additional value of your service, to me and I believe to many others too. Maybe it could go hand in hand with Dropbox Shop?Solved4KViews2likes5CommentsDropbox Shop keyword search for products. Is it possible?
While uploading products into Dropbox Shop, there was a handy Search field for shop owners. However, when I "View Storefront" to see it from a customer's perspective, I'm not seeing a search option there. Am I missing it? I tried this in Firefox and Google. It would be quite handy for customers to be able to search through products by keyword. The closest equivalent I could get was to use a browser's "Find in Page" feature. However, only a limited number of items are presented on the initial screen/page. A customer would have to be savvy enough to scroll down through the previews for the entire inventory (several hundred items, in my case) before the "Find in Page" could actually be fully effective. If a search feature is not available or anticipated, do you have suggestions for other ways to help customers find specific products?Solved1.6KViews1like2CommentsDropbox Shop discount codes
Hello All, I think an option to insert a discount code for %/$ off for items for sale is a must. When I launch a new product my subscribers get a subscriber-only discount and once a year I have a SuperSale. The platform I currently use allows this. Each item in the listing has the option to include a discount box to enter the % or $ amount with a unique code the customer is given to use, I limit my subscriber discount to a week to use it, and the discount box is clicked to show on that product only. I then manually go back in and remove the discount code for that product one week later. SuperSale I insert % off on one item and click the show discount box on all items. I'm not sure how to set up a poll, if you think this is a good idea please comment so developers of the new Dropbox Shop will know. Thanks for ylour ti me, Karen1.4KViews1like3CommentsHow can I receive files directly into my Dropbox account?
Here is the situation: I am starting a marketplace where vendors can upload their digital art and sell it via my website. The issue is, the space on my web hosting plan will not come close to the needed space. I would like the vendors to be able to upload directly to a predetermained folder on my Dropbox Business account. I know something like this can be done, but I am having trouble figuring out how to do it. I am using OpenCart 3.0.2.0 as my shopping cart software. Please help!!!6KViews1like10Comments
