You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
Please allow pairing of more than two accounts. As a contractor, I am a member of a company's business account, a team member of another company, and have my personal account. It is frustrating to only be able to pair two of them, so that when I need to access the third, I have to completely sign out of the others and sign in fresh for the third.

They don't want to do it, but certainly will look into it more seriously if there is demand.
2 Business accounts create issues of security I was told, that are not so simple to resolve.
But either way, it does not matter if it is hard or easy. What matters is that 35 people want it, it is not a feature worth looking into it yet.
Take it easy

fjazzfjazz No they wont, this has been asked for for YEARS and no change.
2 Biz Accounts creates a security issue?!?!?! What a Freaking piss take of a joke as an excuse.
Tell that to Microsoft OneDrive doesn't have any security Issues.
The only security issue they can imagine is "someone might save a file in the wrong one" piss poor excuse for doing nothing.
And it does matter how easy ro hard it is, it just goes to show you that they dont care.
35 People wanting it means nothing to these guys.
If you want multiple Biz accounts, just create multiple users on the pc, install the dropbox folder in each to a common access location on the pc, then launch all of them using RUNAS.exe, clear instructions are up here. I used to do that over 5 years ago with 3+ biz accounts. Easy Peasy.

AlignAdmin I hear you. All my machines are Mac. Do you know a work around for Mac? I have to look into RUNAS to see what it is and what it does, and if there is a counterpart for OS.
Thanks

+1
I've come here via asking a question about the same thing (here). As I note in that question, this appears to be a long-standing issue going back to at least 2016.
My 2c: many small and mid-sized firms engage with external advisors such as accountants. And I suspect that is becoming increasingly common in the aftermath of COVID, in the same way that remote working is increasing.
But precisely because the number of such external users is increasing, what is also increasing is the inconvenience created by not being able to have those external users sync/link to multiple business accounts. For example, the useful functionality inherent in the Groups feature is well-nigh obliterated if you have a situation where you'd really like a Group that contains both internal users and externals.

Pourquoi????? C'est fou!

Thanks to everyone that has expressed the importance of this problem for them! Our team is actively looking into ways to allow for this kind of multi-account linked for exactly the reasons mentioned. Stay tuned!

Fantastic news. Over here, between my company, my partner company, two freelance clients and an arts organization I support, I could see wanting access to three to four "team" services.

That is great news! Thank you DB team!
Know this can't be an easy thing to do, but looking forward to it.

Lol same mumbled line they say every few years. Just to pretend they care. It's $10nz for a Microsoft 365 account, 2 terabytes of space, as many accounts loading to the same user as you like.
Drip ox missed the boat and drowned in the flood.

haha -- well, the proof is in the pudding as they say... if Dropbox comes thru, that'll be awesome.
