User restrictions on bulk deletion or moving
It would be great if it were possible to set a user so they cannot perform bulk deletions or moves of files. One of the users, who does not have admin rights, accidentally moved a folder with 350,000 files. As a result, we lost the functionality of the links when returning the folder back. It would therefore be great if some users could be restricted so that it is not possible to move or delete files beyond a certain quota.
Option to link multiple Dropbox team accounts on the same device
Problem: Our Managing Director manages multiple organizations, each with separate Dropbox Business accounts. Since there’s no option to switch between business accounts easily, he has to repeatedly sign out and sign in to access each account. This is time-consuming, inconvenient, and disrupts workflow—especially during critical moments when quick access to files across both accounts is needed. Proposed Solution: Introduce a business account switching feature similar to the existing personal account switching functionality. This would allow users to connect multiple Dropbox Business accounts and switch between them seamlessly without having to log out and log in each time. Key Benefits: Increased Productivity: No more interruptions from logging in and out multiple times a day. Users can quickly access the files they need from any account. Improved User Experience: A simplified workflow for professionals and business leaders who oversee multiple organizations. Enhanced Collaboration: Easier access to shared resources across accounts, benefiting not only executives but also team members who might work across multiple business entities. This feature would be valuable for executives, consultants, or managers who work with multiple businesses and need streamlined access to their Dropbox accounts for efficient multitasking.
Filter Option: Add Filter Type For Content with Comment
When I'm collaborating with my clients, I usually have them comment on photos/videos, this way I can see what my clients think about the product. I would love to see Dropbox include an integration where we can filter the folder to show which content in a folder has a comment in it. Unless there is another way of doing this, please drop a comment; otherwise, I would love to see this feature.
Dropbox Passwords: Option to disable password info for teams
Yes, there are many options where "advanced" users can get the password when it loads in the password field, but this would be useful for most cases. Cases where we want to share login data and remove that access when the user is no longer in the team. 100% reliable? Sure not, but a nice feature.
