Hi! I used to have a paid personal Dropbox account, until I outgrew the 3TB of storage space. I downgraded to a free Dropbox account and started storing my files with a different provider. As a renewal of my subscription with this other provider is coming up mid-June, I was wondering if you are planning on implementing larger personal plans in the future? Ideally I'd love a package that has somewhere between 6 to 8TB.
Switching to a professional account is not an option, because:
- I already use a professional account from the company I work for, you can only use 1 personal and 1 professional account in the Dropbox software at the same time, and I don't want to upload my personal files to my company's account
- a professional account requires several licenses (3, I believe), while I only need 1
Therefore, I would like to suggest to implement the option to purchase a larger personal plan with more storage space than the current 3TB (of course the plan with 3TB should still exist for users who don't need more than 3TB).

This is also an issue I face. I use a business account from one employer and have maxed-out my personal plan.
I am involved in the creative industries and require a lot of storage capacity (running at ~6-8TB presently) for my personal use. I'm not interested in "value added" features just a basic service with selective sync and loads of space. And I'm happy to pay a competitive rate.
Presently, I use a combination of Google Drive, iCloud and OneDrive in addition to DropBox.
I have resorted to using NAS storage and a data backup service.
As far as I can see, there is a "willing" market for high storage personal user accounts.
Whilst this "daft" voting system has some merit, might I suggest that none of the leading providers are offering a similar service and thus the first to do so will have my business and the rest can go f... themselves.
I don't see why it's such a big deal to stick 10TB out there at say $30 /month and say take-it or leave-it. In my opinion, I believe the concern is that this could be hugely popular and thus overwhelm the existing infrastructure.

You saw my subject. Please make alternative for us. My financial is just enough and I need this dropbox storage badly to keep my memories alive. My only last wish is at least my kid or my other families still have this memories with them when my time is come. I don't know if 3TB is enough but I hope it enough to keep my memories especially for my only son as he loves me so much. I can't leave them with financial but I hope they can have this memories to keep them grateful. Thank you.

More options for individual users like space increasing or decreasing ; I cannot move on if I want to use more than 5 TB as an individual.

Three TB is just too small for me, but I am the only user and don't want to spend money on features I will never use. The three user business accounts are too expensive for me, and not a good fit.
Dropbox, please institute a 'Professional Plus' account for solo people like me, and charge another 33% for unlimited space. My wallet is open but I currently have no upgrade path.

I would love to take my business elsewhere, since dropbox appears to be non-responsive to their customers wants and needs. The problem is, that all of my clients use dropbox and don't yet have the need to take their business elsewhere. Come on dropbox! I don't want to buy 3 licenses just for my self! I want to give you more money for more space (as do countless other customers). The 3TB limit is killing me.......

I am a one-man-band, with a lot of data and backup needs.
Although I can get more cloud storage with the Teams Plan, that's just too expensive for one person since you have to pay for three users.
I'm currently using 1.3TB out of my 2TB Plus plan and have 2TB more I wish to add. Unfortunately, that would exceed the 3TB cap of your Professional plan.
Could you PLEASE offer a 4TB Professional+ Plan!!! - Michael B.20Explorer | Level 4
if dropbox doesn't care about customers wanting to give them more revenue, try iDrive. Not quite the functionality, but lots of storage for cheap. I moved my archive files that i don't need to access often to them.

With the size of files these days, while 3 TB seems like a lot, in some cases it really isn't enough. The only option above that is to go to a 5 TB business plan where an individual (not a business) has to pay for a lot of features that are unnecessary just to get the larger limit. So the only recourse is to go with the 3 TB limit plan or seek an alternative to dropbox. I hope they will consider this.

I have grown my Dropbox plan over these years. I am currently on the Business Professional Plan with 3GB capacity.
I require a larger storage capacity, and as I don't have others on my team, I would like for you to offer larger capacity plans for single users. Maybe a 5GB and a 10GB plan.
