It has been a year since the last update on the thread about this problem and it looks like commenting was shut off... and still no resolution. ( https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-installs-integrations/Custom-folder-icons-vanish-when-folder-moved-into-DB/td-p/330443 ) It is incredibly frustrating that we cannot use custom icons for shared folders. This was something that we used to be able to do (about 2 years ago.) I have my Dropbox folders sorted by client, and some are shared with the client. I would like to have the ability to have that client's logo as the folder icon again, so it is much faster to see which folder is which, rather than them all being plain blue folders.

We share documents and pictures. Using star to identify files requiring attention. I add a star to identify file unfinished, when coworker is finished with file they would remove star if this was a feature or as above apply their specific star or logo or Avatar
