Hi,
Is it possible now, or in the near future to mark an entire folder + subfolders as favorite, and so synching new added files too ?
I want to make my image portfolio offline accessible on my Apple devices, but marking them one by one takes me forever...
Also when I add a new subfolder with images, I always have to mark them too one by one... on BOTH my iPad and iPhone.
Is there a way or will there be in the furure?

Perhaps I'm the only one using the Offline files function but I'm surprised that one has received much attention over the years.
I use this function a lot (on the iOS app) and would like if it could reflect the folder structure of the cloud-based storage.
I often refer to files I have made available for offline use, for instance because I am travelling internationally and don't have access to wifi. This is difficult to do in a user-friendly way in a very very long list of files.
A normal file browser type of interface would be the best. With larger phone screens this should be possible to fit in.
If Dropbox could also simplify the "make available offline" function, it would be ahead of the iCloud Drive which really doesn't let users save files for offline use in a simple way. For instance a long press on a file or folder could bring up a simple menu with save for offline use, in addition to things like move or copy.

I can't image this would be the most difficult feature to implement.
I use both Dropbox and Sugar Sync since each has its advantage. I have both clouds synced via cloudhq.net.
SugarSync allows offline FOLDERS on iPad. Today I tried to do this with Dropbox but it only allows individuals files to be selected for offline use and NOT Folders unless I am missing something. It would look like a mess if I had hundreds of individual files syncing offline and not organized neatly in folders
You can access all of your Dropbox files by syncing cloud to cloud via cloudhg.net to SugarSync then designating an entire FOLDER in SugarSync to be available offline.
SugarSync is tricky when you have multiple devices syncing to one SugarSync account. You would only choose ONE device to sync via cloudhq and NOT your entire SugarSync cloud.

So frustrating not having this facility. Google Drive and OneDrive are the same though. Box allows a folder to be available offline (not subfolders though I think?). I use Box on my iPad for having a whole lot of media files readily available on my 64GB iPad - so nice to be able to do this.
Synology with their Cloud Station do it all if you host your own "Cloud" on their NAS drive products. Very simple to use so am pushing on with that leaving Dropbox as a backup to Synology Cloud Station. Had issues with the early version of Cloud Station but current one seems robust. No doubt Dropbox and the big three of Google / Microsoft and Apple will get there. Just wish there was more debate on the lack of folder/subfolder access offline on tablets/smartphones. Just frustrating when you know it will change in the future.Turns out using Box for this works just fine. Really easy. As I said, for Dropbox to have this capability seems so obvious. At least I have a stopgap until Dropbox adds this capability.
Thanks for the Box tip. I will use that until Dropbox gets around to adding this feature. Seems like such a no brainer to offer this.
And now with the drop down method to select every file it takes more effort to Favorite a number of files than before when you could just swipe. Makes no sense.

When will it finally be possible to set up entire folder for saving all (old and new) files inside it for offline viewing/editing? I can't believe that I write this after numerous years of hoping, waiting, complaining, and paying for the service? Or will it be "delivered" by yet another update that provides "the newest features"? "Newest features" that are unknown to your paying customers... oh well!
