I have Dropbox Essential. How can I get Dropbox to automatically enter the google 2fa? For some mysterious reason, it does it for two of my accounts, so I know it is possible. But I cannot find any...

Hi Lesa, thanks for clarifying for us!
It sounds like you're referring to our 6-digit security, one-time code.
On our end, I don't believe what you want to do is possible, you'd need to do that manually.
But you might need to also contact Google, in order to double check with them about this.
I hope this clarifies!

Hey Lesa, thanks for posting your query to the Dropbox Community.
Can you please clarify exactly what you'd like to do in a bit more detail?
What happens with your other accounts in comparison to what happens with this specific Dropbox Essentials one?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Hannah. Thank you for getting back to me. I will try to ask my question with more clarity. I have google 2fa associated with several accounts including Intuit, T-Mobile, my credit union, Yahoo, Login.gov, etc. Dropbox nicely signs me in with my user names and passwords, but then it's up to me to go to my phone, look up the 6-digit code and type it in. Is there a way for me to give permission to Dropbox to access the google 2fa's and automatically enter them so I don't have to? I realize that 2FAs aren't the newest security features, but they are what my accounts use. Thank you.
