Hi, I currently have a Dropbox basic account, however when I try to open the Passwords app on my iPhone it wants me to upgrade to Plus. My understanding is that you can still access Passwords with a Basic account. It jumps to the 'You're all set!' window however when I select 'Continue' it then reverts back to the 'Upgrade to Dropbox Plus to use Passwords' window. Please advise. Many thanks, MattSolved654Views0likes12CommentsSign in with Apple ID shows that the account is disabled
Hello, If I try to sign in/continue with Apple id in browser or iOS app. It shows an error > account is disabled. But when I sign in using the same icloud email, there is no any issue. I made a mistake of choosing "Hide my Email" on my first attempt to sign in and it created the new account which I had to delete. After that I can't use the Continue with Apple feature anymore. Please solve the issue. Thanks6.3KViews1like27CommentsA Photographers question on Ai Image Analysis & Ai Data Collection,- Concent, Rights & Implicaions
As a photographer is use Dropbox to transmit, store and handle my files. lately when running a search for the word "FIRE", the search function returned multiple pictures from my archive with flames in them. Question 1: has my Photography Archive been subject to Ai image analysis? (which it obviously has been...) - what kind? - by what tools? and most importantly, where did i concent to any of it? (yes i read the 'Legal' page thoroughly) disclaimer: as an event photographer i am involved in all kinds of Private, Open & Deeply personal moments from peoples lives, i have an Etheic Moral and Legal duty to protect my clients, partners, models, childrens & friends privacy, dignity and basic right not to have their likeness and very life be used to feed some data set somewhere withiout their knowlege and concent. i use Generative Ai tools as part of my personal and professional creative research, i see the potential, but am also aware of the possible implications. Question 2: has my Phototography Archive (my body of work) been compromised, sold, copied or in any other way transfered to any third party without my concent? i think you get where im going with this.... am i doomed to have my stuff be fed to the Ai data machine by simply having it on the internet? i am only asking because i am already extremely doubtfull of my future as an Artist and Creative Professional. i love Dropbox a lot and use it all the time and recommend it to everyone, i really hope i don't soon grow to regret it... would love to hear your thoughts. ~T187.Solved2.7KViews1like4CommentsThe one-time code either never arrives to my email or Dropbox tells me it's expired.
Hi. I really want login. But I can't. I've tried many things. When I try to login through Dropbox web page via PC and mobile: The page for Second step verification is not uploaded. I waited over 10 minutes.(It's definitely not an internet problem) When I try to login through Dropbox via mobile app: Second step verification email arrives from no-reply@dropbox.com.But it is not helpful. Even though I entered the code in 30 seconds, a pop-up window appeared saying “A considerable amount of time has passed. Please re-enter your password.” If I try to reset the password, I don´t receive the mails. I already addedno-reply@dropbox.com to my email contacts, it doesn´t help. I can't even change my password. Because the mail doesn't arrive. I already check spam mail, but it doesn't help. What should I do? Please help me.1.6KViews0likes10CommentsI removed Dropbox from my iPhone and I can't find the email my account was linked to.

It is very shocking for me thatDropbox Passwords has no master password (or at least I can't find it). I do not use fingerprints on my phone, I have simple PIN. It is locking after 2 minutes, but if the pone is in hands it won't turn off the screen. So, to open another password managers it is necessary to enter master password. But for this app you just open it and the passwords are visible immediately. Is it possible to add Normal master password or at least PIN to add additional protection?361Views0likes1CommentMobile app: actual discretion and privacy, persistent and by default
The security features of Dropbox are decent, but what's the point if every time I open the app on a phone or tablet, practically every file is displayed!?! Recent files. Suggestions (Really? I don't need a recommendation - they are my files!). Shared files, starred files, etc. - everything displayed with file names and previews... even if the files are buried in folders. Sure, you can change everything about the view every time you log in (although the only way to get an effectively blank home screen is to never take files offline, turn off everything in the palette except offline files, and then save the views, since you can't turn off all the items and save)... but once you log out and log back in, it's all back. Why don't my settings and view persist on my mobile account? It also feels like it's getting worse with each update, as if the objective is to make the app some kind of bulletin board of your private files for everyone in the vicinity. I didn't even know these forums existed until I started looking for answers to turning these 'features' off, and I discovered here a multitude of users on these forums asking for the same things, rather than the opposite 'features' we get. Dropbox staff often respond with the temporary fixes outlined above, but seem content to ignore the real fix these users are requesting. I've used Dropbox for many years, but in a limited way until now. Recently, however, I've been looking into premium options for secure file storage and backup for myself, my family, and my business - I guess the answer for now is just to look elsewhere? This can't be hard to implement.468Views0likes1Comment
