security tab missing under settings

I tried to sign out a USB device remotely. the instructions say to click on 'settings' and thereafter to click the 'security tab'. But the latter does not exist in my menu...

What now? How to sign out my USB device (which is there not anymore...)?

Hey there Pelikaan - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

You should be able to remove a device from your account by deleting it from your Security page.

Could you give it a go and let me know how it goes?

    Thanks!

      Walter,

Thank you for your swift reply.

I found the security page. However, my issue has not been solved. I tried to find the (not connected) USB drive, which appears to take ±45 Gb of my hard disk space referred to as 'Backup'. It is not in the list of devices.

      What's next?

You should be able to delete it from the backups page in that case.
