"link copied" notification keeps showing on my Windows computer and it disrupts my workflow

On Windows 11. Is this experience new? It's awful. I use File Explorer to copy a Dropbox link to a file a non-native notification launches and eventually dismisses. It covers system UI elements unlike native notifications and starts the app in the taskbar. Why? Dropbox is always running on my system. Why is Dropbox not using native notifications?

    Thanks for posting here, betterthanrivestillawful

What’s the app version of the Dropbox app you’re running?

Did you notice this type of notification after a specific update?

Also, from what I understand, this only appears when copying a shared link via the desktop app, correct?

    Keep me posted.

      1. The version is 203.3.4712.

      2. Not sure. I thought Dropbox used to use native notifications.

      3. Not sure. All notifications are turned off in the Dropbox app settings.
