I created an account using an email address that doesn't exist - how can I change it?

I made use of the acer and dropbox offer, however I misspelled my mail using gmail.com instead of hotmail.com. Now I don't have acces to this misspelled gmail account, nor can I create this mail because gmail doesn't allow me to use lowercases (which I used with this account). Now the helpcenter says I can change my mailadress but only if it's verified, but ofcourse i'm not able to verify this mailadress.

Is there any way I can get my mail changed?

Hey Valerie0, thanks for reaching out to us and sorry to see that you're having this issue.

In this case, I would suggest that you reach out to our support team, to see what can be done.

To do so, open a private browsing/incognito window and go to this page.

In the "What's your issue" section, choose "Forgot or can't access sign-in email" and fill out the rest of the form.

Once you submit the request, you should receive a ticket number, so please send that to us here as well.

    Thanks!
