Is there a cheaper plan than the Plus plan, that offers more space?
my question is:
Is there any plan that is even cheaper than the normal basic plan of 2000 tb? It happens that I want to have more storage space, but the cheapest plan is still quite expensive.
Is there an alternative storage plan, which is cheaper?
Hi wdshieh, if your account is eligible, you could upgrade to the Dropbox Basic Extra plan, which offers all the existing features on Basic, but with 50 GB of quota.

Gracias,
Azul

I consider that their plans are too expensive for countries that are not in a good socioeconomic moment. They should be more empathetic since they have clients from all over the world and in countries like Argentina, their platform is turning its back on them. Not only because it is charged in a currency that is very little accessible here, but because the values are high. I would think about a discount for these situations, or if you don't want to change the currency, put a more friendly price. I had to unsubscribe from their Professional plan because it was too expensive.
Also, while I'm at it, it seems to me that your user experience is not very intuitive. The website is elaborate and does not have easy access. - LarseinarNew member | Level 2I think it is to expensive. Do yuo have a alternativ that dos not ruin me?
- Selena9Explorer | Level 4Please make cheaper plan with less storage.
I don't really need 1TB storage.
Just 50GB and $1 for month will be great. - AvondNew member | Level 2Blunt the price is too high One Drive does the same thing for 1.99 a month. I have both If you lowered the price I’m sure you’d get more customers. Give it a try if no luck go back being Scrooge😊

Hi,
I would like to share my opinion that if you start a plan for students or less than 2 TB plan, that would help student users or those who want to get a small package. That might be more effective for enhancing users. As a Dropbox user, I couldn't buy a plan. I kept my basic plan because. The further plan is 2 TB, it would be expensive for me.

+1 on the request a cheaper plan. Google One offers additional storage for a few dollars why can't we have the same on dropbox?
- tttt0New member | Level 2
One more request for a cheaper plan! 10GB, 20GB, 50GB? The jump from 2GB to 2000GB is just too overkill imho.

It would be an excellent idea to expand the audience to include single users, who often don't need a lot of space, to add a 50-100 GB plan for 1-2 euros per month, so perhaps you could subscribe instead of the classic iCloud

Hi!
I think your pricing policy is not right. 1TB for $99 is too much space for too much money.
With Google I can have 100 Gb for $1.99 per month, which is more than enough for me.
After being a premium user for more than 3 years, I am switching to Google Drive.- Tao W.Helpful | Level 5
Why can't dropbox provide cheaper options? Like 50GB for $5/year, 100GB for $10/year, 2000GB for $20/year, etc.?

I fully agree!! If there is a plan 1 tb or even 500gb will be great! I have the same problem that is to expensive for that I need the 2 tb

offer dynamic dataplan for users which are not willing to subscribe for the actual models, so they can subscribe for lower rates as well. starting at the basic plan.

Hi @meks, thanks for joining the Community!
Could you let me know more about what you're describing, in order for other voters to understand your suggestion?
Are you referring to paying for the amount of data you're storing on your account? If so, how would this be priced in your opinion in terms of billing cycle and cost?
This will help me to assist further!

Yes, I've been really frustrated that Dropbox's least expensive plan is $120 per year. I don't need 2 TB, and I definitely won't spend $120. Meanwhile, Google One offers 200 GB for $30 per year. Now THAT's something interesting, even though I'm not fond of the user experience with GoogleDrive. You can also get significant amounts of data, but fully end-to-end encrypted, with iDrive for much less than $120 per year. Again, I don't love their UI and the feature set is missing a couple fundamental things. But there's just no way I'm paying $120 per year.
Dropbox, when are you going to offer a decent plan for common folks...something like Google's 200 GB for $30 per year, and maybe some higher level for $50 or $60 per year (and allowing us to log in to the Dropbox application on more than the ridiculous 3 devices allowed by the free plan)???? C'mon, you're just being jerks at this point.
If some people need 2 TB, I admit $120 per year isn't a bad price. But so many of us DON'T need THAT much space, and also can't afford that price. So let's get real here. - JayDropbox Staff
If your account is eligible, there is the Basic Extra plan available for purchase.

Hi there NOUTROK , thank you for your inquiry.
Just to clarify, the Basic plan, is our free plan, and comes with 2 GB of space.
You are referring to our Plus plan, that offers 2 TB of space.
I am afraid that, there is no plan, that offers more space, at a lower price, at the moment.
You can see all our available plans here.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else.
- zsoltadopNew member | Level 2Hey, somebody know the 3000GB is the maximum storage here in Dropbox or there a is a bigger opportunities? Thank you

For personal plans, unless you see other options at www.dropbox.com/account/plan that is the max, yes.
If you want more you need to use business plans BUT that means multiple fees per month
