Is there a cheaper plan than the Plus plan, that offers more space?
my question is:
Is there any plan that is even cheaper than the normal basic plan of 2000 tb? It happens that I want to have more storage space, but the cheapest plan is still quite expensive. ...

Hi wdshieh, if your account is eligible, you could upgrade to the Dropbox Basic Extra plan, which offers all the existing features on Basic, but with 50 GB of quota.

Dropbox can think of a plan starting with lower spaces say 250GB, 500GB, 1TB, etc.
That is suitable for small and medium enterprises.

I've been paying $11.99 a month for 2TB storage for years. I don't need that much storage and finally decided to do something about it. I was shocked to discover that there is not a plan between the free one and the 2TB one. I inquired and was told that there is no plan for creating one in the future which is unfortunate because I really like dropbox but Its time to look for a more cost effective cloud storage service that provides more pricing/plan options.
- RatSinner2 years agoNew member | Level 2There should be an option to purchase a flat amount of storage. I use dropbox for a specific purpose that just does not necessitate paying per month but I would absolutely pay for a flat storage increase. I would honestly pay for just GBs like it wouldn’t even need to be paying for TBs bc I think the subscription for TBs makes sense for other people but for my purposes a one time purchase of 25-50 GB would get the job done and I’d buy that option in a heartbeat

Hi there,
Im sure this has been raised but it would be great to have another plan option for smaller plans. This would especially be useful for people who want to use the rekordbox cloud storage which requires you to have a dropbox account. The plus plan is too expensive if it is just being used for rekordbox cloud storage and 2tb is far more than needed. I have 2000 songs which equates to 32gb. I would love to have a 100gb plan for max $20 - $50aud a year.

At the very least, allow me a 1TB option, so I can pay, say $60 a year and be satisfied.
In my view, you are gouging your customers, by forcing us to buy four times the space we actually need.

I am retired & on fixed income. I have been a longtime user of Dropbox free. The 2gb jump to 2tb is nice, but the $9.95 is not feasible.
I could see $2.95 for 500gb or $5.95 for 1tb.

I want a cheaper upgrade subscription option. Maybe a $1 option for 25gb-100gb per month like Icloud offers for people who aren't going to use a full 2 tb of storage. I only upload music to my dropbox and it only takes up 1gb right now but soon I'm going to max out to 2gb. If I spend $10 a month I'll never use a full tb of storage of just mp3 files and I would be completely overpaying for unused storage. I may never even reach 50gb but I'd rather pay $1 to use maybe 15gb-30gb of storage rather than spend $10 to do the same thing. I love the dropbox service but I'd be wasting money if I did $10 a month.

I'm certain this has been suggested by others, but why such the absurd discrepancy in storage between the free plan (2 GB) and the cheapest paid plan (2,000 GB)? Can't imagine many individual users ever approach 2,000 GB.
If there was an intermediate plan between them (anywhere north of 100 GB), I would happily sign up.

Hi,
This is Achin kansal from India
I am a dropbox plus subscriber with 2 tb defualt plan, I want to suggest that currently I dont need 2tb rather 1 tb or 1.5tb plan would be great for me as of now, can dropbox offer me a customised storage plan and thus reduce the subscription pricing as well.
This would lead to acquiring more new customers with low pricing to get on board...

Have another price plan for half the space and half the cost. I can't afford £10 a month for what I use DB for, I'm sure I'm not the only person who has this problem.
I use DB to move files between computers. I don't require 2TB and would use a lot DB more if I had a £5 option for a 500GB - 1TB option. Because the price is too high I tend to use WeTransfer, but I like the DB structure.

Good evening! Will there be any plans to offer a plan with 100 or 200 GB of space in the future?
