Is Sequoia 15.1.1 compatible with Dropbox?
My Macbook Pro (M1) is pestering me to upgrade to Sequoia 15.1.1. I'm currently running Sonoma 14.7.1. I'm hesitant to upgrade because I don't want to run into any issues with Dropbox. Have others had a smooth upgrade to Sequoia 15.1.1? Thanks!

After upgrading to 15.1.1 I have encountered a problem where i am now unable to copy files from downloads folder to a Dropbox folder. When I use drag & drop or the menu the destination Dropbox folder switches to the Downloads (source) folder and it is a no-operation. Thanks.

Hey memark, would you mind trying out these steps, and let me know if you still face the same issue?
Hi glancashire, do you have any external drives connected to the computer in question/Dropbox app perhaps?
Also, can you check the properties of your Dropbox folder, to identify how many files you have there? Also hat’s the app version you’re using at the moment?

I just upgraded from 15.1 to 15.1.1 and my Dropbox client went haywire. After upgrade - the client refused to recognize my Dropbox folder. It forced me to unlink and create a new folder in ~/Dropbox.
After full resync - it lost "macOS Filer Provider" compatibility. Horrible.
Dropbox team - are you looking at this? I am on the latest "stable" 212.4.5767 client.

Dear Dropbox
I have the same issue after updating. I use dropbox on two Mac computers both on the latest sequoia release.
On the macbook it worked until the update, when it went haywire as described above but now any attempt to move a file in finder or opening a file in word just does not work.
On the MacStudio it works without issue even after the update.Interestingly on the Macbook the settings show that my account is not eligible for the Mac file provider release where the exact same account on the Mac Studio says I am eligible and even am running on the file provider version.
I have tried to install a file provider version on the MacBook, but it always defaults to the standard version. I have checked that file provider is enabled in the admin console.
Kind Regards
Graham
