Change Status for non registered Users in Dropbox Replay
Hello,
a client of mine is correcting the videos I cut via Dropbox replay.
The client himself does not have a Dropbox account. But I added him via link for his data (in his folder) with the permission "Edit".
He can also add comments without any problems. However, he told me he cannot change the status of the video (needs review, approved,...).
Does he have to be registered to do this?
Thanks for your answers.
Hey DerDa81, sincerest apologies for the delay here.
Just wanted to close the loop and confirm that indeed, only logged in users can change the status of a video.

Hi,
So, if I've understood this, only someone with a Dropbox account can change a status to 'Approved'?
If that's the case, I would seriously consider changing that as getting a client approval is an incredibly important part of the sign-off process.
Cheers

Are there any plans to introduce this feature in the future? It would also be important for our customers to be able to change the status without a Dropbox account.
