Hi Haydenprice21, as Rich stated, foreign sites are hard to access from within China, and this isn't just restricted to Dropbox.
This means that many other apps or services you use won't be able to access the internet from there. There is a possibility that one might work, but that would be up to you to determine which app that was.
Other users on the Community have used a VPN from within China successfully, and even then, there could still be issues with connections with that method.

What do you mean, Great firewall of China? And I want to stay loyal to dropbox but is there another app I could use instead and then share a link when I get home so I can do my daily updates to the thing instead of having to do it all at once

The Chinese Government controls the Internet access in China and there's a firewall in place that blocks many sites and services. It, combined with the laws associated with it, have come to be known as the Great Firewall, or the Great Firewall of China.

You'd have to explain exactly what it is you're trying to accomplish, but ultimately, anything related to Dropbox in China will probably require the use of a VPN to get around the firewall.

What I am trying to do is upload Photos that when I get home I can share a link with friends and family so they can see my photos I’ve taken on holiday whilst I’ve been in China instead of me having to upload loads of photos when I get home and it taking forever I wouldn’t be using Mobile data. I would be using Wi-Fi from the hotels I stay at.

Unless you use a VPN you won't be able to use Dropbox in China.
