Upcoming Mac OS Update

Hi everyone,

the most recent update for Dropbox/Mac OS mentions, among other things, that the local dropbox folder will be moved to a different location within Mac OS.

My question is: will this affect the shared folders? I mean, the folders that I have shared with other users and to which they have access through their own Dropbox desktop app. Will the shared folders still be available to them without the need to re-share? I guess so, since we are sharing off Dropbox and not off our local storage, but I just wanted to double-check. I am sharing a folder with an elderly relative who won't be able to change anything should the access be gone.

Thanks,

This will not affect your shared folders. They will still be available to all other members without the need to re-share them.
