The uploaded photos from the Camera Uploads aren't synced locally.
Hey there,
Here's a problem I'd like some advice on.
What I would want:
1. The photos from my iPhone get automatically uploaded to my Camera Uploads account in Dropbox - SUCCESS
2. The uploaded photos from the Camera Uploads account get automatically downloaded/synced to the hard drive of my MacBook - FAIL
- The filenames of the uploaded photos are visible in my desktop app, and if I double-click on them to view them, they will get downloaded eventually
I have checked all settings I could think of and they all seem to be right. Still, I don't get to the expected result. Any guidance is much appreciated

Have you got it set to Online Only? If so set it so that they arent and they should download as offline 🙂

Thanks for the suggestion Mark , but that is one of the settings that have been correct all the way. Also, there is enough hard drive space to download all of them and selective sync also does contain this specific folder. Do you have any other ideas?

Right-click the Camera Uploads folder (not the files within it) and make sure the Make available offline option is NOT visible. If it is, click it. The folder could be in a mixed state (some files offline, some online-only.
