Hey cdc manchaca ! The files you’re viewing are still saved on the owner’s Dropbox account, correct?
Do you have any other shared files you can test this with? Do they all present the same error message?
Finally, how about trying via a different browser/incognito window?

Hey Arun7, have you tried what my colleague Nancy suggested about a different browser or an incognito tab on your current one?
Also, is the content a shared link, or a shared folder?

Yeah, the file is opening on the incognito tab.
