Shared link won't go away

Hi Jay,
There is nothing in either of those.
However, the popup message no longer appears on either my phone or my wife's! I have not changed anything but the result is good!
I guess our phones were scared because I started talking to you - you rock!
Thanks,
Tony

Hi
Since a couple of months the mobile Dropbox app (on iOS) keeps showing a message when it's started.
The message refers to a shared folder from a school project some years ago, but I can't see the folder so I can't leave the shared folder.
Weirdly the message shows, disappears immediately, and is then shown again until I hit the "ignore" button (left).
Screenshot is in Dutch, it's saying "<someone> has shared <school project folder> with you"
If I hit the "show" button (right) I get another message saying the link couldn't be opened.
I've been searching the app and the website for any traces of this folder so I can leave it, but haven't found anything, no results show up when using the search function with the exact folder name.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Czyo5S7rb1!
Can you please check your Shared page via a computer, and let me know if you see anything relevant there?
Can you also clear your mobile app’s cache, and reinstall it on your device?

Reinstalling the app on mobile doesn't seem to help.
When I visit the shared page I see an empty list.
The lists on the other tabs (recent, folder, links, signatures) are also empty.

Hey Czyo5S7rb1 - thanks for the additional information and sorry to jump in here.
Could you let us know your device's OS version and the version of the mobile app installed there as well?
Also, have you tried clearing the app's cache at all since you first noticed this?

Yes I tried clearing the app cache before and after reinstalling, unfortunately also didn't help.
I'm on iOS 17.0.3 now but the problem has been existing for at least couple of months, when I was on iOS 16.
The currently installed Dropbox app version is 345.2.2.
