May I ask what plan you're on at the moment?
The advanced settings for shared links such as setting a password, expiration date or disabling downloads are only available to customers on Dropbox Professional, Standard, Advanced, and Enterprise plans.

When I create a folder, I am adding the "View Only", "Password Protected" information to my link. I have been practicing on myself.
However, when I send the folder, the information is transmitted and I open the link without requiring a password. We have a Business Standard plan. What am I doing wrong? Please help! Thank you, Diane G

How are you checking its not working dmgonzales ? If you are sending it and clicking on the link yourself Dropbox will detect its you and so you will be auto logged in. Try it via an incognito window or another device

Hi, thanks for answering my question. I was sending it from a work computer, and accessing it on my personal iphone.
