Greetings, I'll explain the problem briefly: I shared a folder containing images with a person, everything is fine, the folder is regularly viewed on the smartphone however, every thumbnail is dupl...

Image helps, thank you!
Basically that means they have those images saved twice on their device - once in your shared folder and once somewhere else. Dropbox doesn't differentiate between that so it will show everything up on the Photos tab even if its duplicate or triplicate.

Thanks Mark
You were very kind in making me understand where the problem originates and why.
Now it's up to me to identify where physically (typically on the smartphone) the copy of the folder is and delete it.
I hope to succeed in this endeavor and definitively put things right.
I am completely satisfied with your precious collaboration, I have marked the problem as "solved" and if I encounter further difficulties I will try to contact you again, leveraging your patience...👋- Mark20 days agoSuper User II

Your support has been exemplary;
I owe you my life, you made sure I didn't waste the rest of my days looking for a hypothetical folder on phone.
Thanks to your indication I easily found the folder in question. (it had served as proof) and left there with another name never thinking that a folder with another name could influence the result.
However I deleted it and everything went back to normal.
Without your help I would never have arrived at the solution.
thanks again andGreetings...👋
