Green and blue ticks missing on folders and files in Dropbox folder - Sonoma latest version (14.4.1)
I've only noticed now but Dropbox on Mac no longer displays green ticks for files and folders in the Dropbox folder.
It also no longer displays the blue ticks for files synced 'only-only'.

Can you please try the following steps to see if they help?
- Click on the Dropbox icon in your menu bar and quit the application
- Open your Activity Monitor from your Mac Utilities folder
- Force quit out of the instances of the Dropbox application that are running by searching for "Dropbox" in the search bar, then clicking on the "x" force quit icon on the top left
- Re-start Dropbox from the applications folder by double clicking on the Dropbox application
- Click on the Apple icon in the top left of your screen
- Click on "force quit"
- Relaunch the finder

Hey shinbeth, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
You should have sync icons on your files and folders in the Dropbox folder actually, so let's see what might be happening.
Is the Dropbox app running/syncing as normal?
What do you see when you hover over the Dropbox icon in your menu bar?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Hi Hannah,
The sync is running/syncing all fine. The Dropbox menu bar is fine.
I restarted my computer many times, the green and blue ticks are still missing on folders and files.
Using macOS Sonoma 14.4.1

- shinbeth8 months agoExperienced | Level 13I keep my computer up to date with Apple, always. I don’t think it’s started with 14.4.1 though, it might have been the case since Ventura 14.0.0 (October 2023). I think your engineers should check whether the Dropbox client is compatible with macOS system. That said, it works no problem. It’s just that Dropbox doesn’t display the green blue ticks in Ventura, but it did before with other macOS. So I don’t really know what’s going on.
