Dropbox Plus - Shared Linked Folder with Password Turned On

When I copy the link and test to confirm a password is required, the folder opens with access to everything without a password being entered.  Is this because Dropbox Plus does not send links password protected?

For the folder I would like to share, I have selected Share > Create a Link > Link Settings > People with Password > I Entered a Password > Expiration On > Selected a Date > Save.

I cleared both browsers of their histories.  I then copied the link from one browser into another and voila.  I was asked for a password.  Thank you for your assistance.

Hey Gallatin, thanks for reaching out today!

Are you perhaps opening the link, while logged in to your account? This wouldn't require you to enter the password.

Can you open it from a different browser or a private browsing window instead, to see how that goes?

    Keep me posted.
