Dropbox desktop syncing caused the internet wifi to stop working.
I have been experiencing this issue for a while now. Every time I sync a file on my MacBook onto Dropbox, the Wi-Fi connection stops working for other applications, browsers, phones, and smart home devices. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to fix this issue? I've tried adjusting the bandwidth upload rate in the settings, but it doesn't seem to solve the problem. OS: macOS Monterey 12.7.1 Internet Speed Test: Download 17.5Mbps Upload 1.7Mbps
If you reduce the upload speed even further, to less than 100 KB/s, are you still getting this issue? Are you connected to a stable WiFi network, or via a hotspot?
Does this only occur on this network connection?

The current status is 'Your files are up to date.' I'm using version 189.4.8427.
I've been experiencing this problem for years. I tried rebooting everything, but it didn't work. What I've been doing is waiting until Dropbox finishes syncing. During this time, web browsers can't load, the Wi-Fi speaker drops out, and Alexa cannot connect to the internet. Everything returns to normal after the sync is finished. It's a pain when I have to constantly sync files.

Did you try reinstalling the app at all since you first noticed this AO6888?
Also, what are your bandwidth settings in the app's preferences at the moment?
