Can I share a folder with 250 people?

I have created a folder (with many sub folders) that I've placed docs into and now need to share that folder to 250 people.  I have all their emails - some already have Dropbox logins - some don't.  I'm I able to share this folder with 250 people?

Hey aminervini, thanks for posting your query to our Community.

I wanted to start by saying that if you'd like to share a folder with people that don't have a Dropbox account, you can, but these people won't be able to edit the folder.

With those people, you can only share it through "view-only" links.

For the rest of the people that do have Dropbox accounts, keep in mind that if you're going to invite them to the folder, it will need to be added to their accounts.

That means that it's going to take up space in their accounts as well, so they'll need to have enough space to add it.

Lastly, regarding the number of members, I would suggest taking it slow with your invitations.

For example, do not exceed 20-30 invites a day (this is not a hard limit, just an example), because you'll probably get an error and won't be able to share it anymore.

I hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.
