Add 1 member to my shared folders, instead of granting a license.
I have to say that as a small business owner that has used and supported Dropbox for years, I am very frustrated and disappointed that there is no option to add just 1 team member to my shared folder who can easily upload documents. I have a VA that creates all of my graphics and need to be able to upload all of those to my shared folder. The only solutions that I have been given is to do the "team" membership which is for 3 people and instead of costing me $12/mo. which I pay now for my Plus membership, I would now have to pay a minimum of $45/mo.(if paying for the whole year, it is more month to month) OR I could use the "request folder" option... which will make my life a nightmare. We have about 15 folders. I would need to grant a request to each one and it expires after 10 days. It would not be difficult to add an add on option for 1 team member. I would be happy to pay an additional $15-18/mo. to add on just 1 person. I feel like this would support the smaller and growing businesses and make it a more doable option.

Hey jamiegfitness, thanks for posting here today!
Technically you can add as many members to your shared folders as you wish.
However, I'm guessing that you can't do this, since they don't have the necessary space in their Dropbox account, right?
In that case, I'd have to agree with the File Request option. In any case, I'll forward your feedback to the appropriate areas so we can continue to improve.
If I can be of further help, I'm always around!

I appreciate you responding Megan! Yes, she is a VA and does not have enough space on her account.
