8 times out of 10 when we send out links for view to people outside our company the ask to join our group. Can you make it more obvious for them to click Skip to View? Dropbox is wonderful -- I've paid for professional for ten years -- but it could be immensely better.. You will make more money if you do these two related things:) (1) The branding feature is way too basic. The options seem like they're from 1995. It would be wonderful if we had more options and more customization. Specifically, if we could create different branding for different customers, it would be amazing. (I use Dropbox to share pictures and videos with my customers. I want to put THEIR branding on these files and galleries, NOT MINE.) (2) The experience of RECEIVING shared files is HORRIBLE, for the people who RECEIVE the links or transfers. Even using the current branding options, Dropbox still puts its OWN branding on the page – this is confusing for the receiver. It's messy and ugly, and it takes up too much screen space. They think they have to create a Dropbox account to receive the files. You are trying to get sales, through me, a paying customer -- that is **bleep**ty. Please take all your branding and sales prompts off these pages, for us paying customers. Also, browsing through pictures on shared links is a slow and not-intuitive process. It would be amazing if you could make it function like[removed per the Dropbox Community Guidelines]. These companies create beautiul galleries, and customers can easily create lists of their favorite pictures. You could actually steal all their business if you did this. By mistake, I just unshared a folder where I was the owner and the folder disappeared from my Dropbox Business account. Hello , I started dropbox business trial today and trying to share a folder to 2 users .But each time it is asking to verify email address and upon clicking the verification email it lead to dropbox home and nothing happens. I just set-up a Teams folder and thought it would be the solution for file sharing our engineering documents. Unfortunately the primary reason I thought Teams would work is for limiting permissions to specific folders. I don't want contractors having access to our entire suite of engineering projects. It seems ALL subfolders share the the same permission as the top level. So USELESS. i still have to share individual folders to restrict access. I created a fillable form and I want many different clients to fill it out and "save" their own version of it. Then I would need to access each customers independent completed form. I have searched through the forum for a solution but have yet to find one. I am using the desktop and trying to create a folder and keep getting the error, "destination folder access denied" "you need permission to perform this action". I have unchecked "read only" in the properties and it re-checks "read only" as soon as I go back to try to create a folder. I am the owner, administrator etc of this computer and I pay for a drop box plan. I recently got a new computer and have had this issue ever since! I should not have to log into dropbox online every time I want to create a folder. I am running windows 11. I have ensured that I have the proper permissions checked. Hi. I re-installed Dropbox due to a day of files not syncing. It's now not even indexing files. Any help would be appreciated. I've tried fixing permissions, only syncing a small number of folders, nothing I can find appears to be working. I'm running Mac 15.0.1 and the latest version of Dropbox. Hi, In my team we share a common Folder, and I really don't need this 'Personal folder' that appeared after an update. Also it is weird as there is nothing in it, but an infinite arborescence of a folder with my name. On my computer i can put it in 'Online only', but i'm logged into another common computer and there it seems to never stop syncing. I cannot disable with selective sync, nor delete the folder. Dropbox recently removedExternal Collaborators tab from Admin Console > Members menu. This was a fast and easy dashboard to see all external collaborators and each shared resource they have access to.Reached out to support and now only option to review external collaborators seems to be through the clunky Admin Console > Security > External Sharing menu.The oldExternal Collaborators tab in the Members menu provided much better security auditing for team admins.
