Organization and missing files
There wasn't a community area for my question so I hope this reaches someone. I just updated my dropbox to essentials, in case than needs to be known. I started backing up my ipad and desktop to dropbox last year. At that time it was having issues as it was also trying to back up to google drive.
Relaying in case that has anything to do with what is going on.
I have dropbox on my desktop. There are times I am on my desktop dropbox and log into my dropbox and they do not show the same information. For instance, 2 times today, 2 of my folders on dropbox showed empty but on my desktop they were there.
I have reached out to support as I noticed files going in my trash and I didn't delete them so I had to remove them, pretty scary. But support said Dropbox wouldn't do this.
Now I am looking for a cad file on my dropbox and my folder says empty 😞 I know it's there. I also did a search for the client name and it said 0.
I have every project in a folder.
What do I do? Do I go back to Google drive and keep my drawing files in Dropbox? Anyone else experienced this?
