I'm paying for a Dropbox subscription, but there are files missing from my account.

I paid AUD30 dollars a month to keep photos, documents and videos of my departed father safe. The money was automatically deducted. I went to my Dropbox account and in horror found it was 2G plan with a few photos, videos and documents. I checked my bank and last deduction of was in July this year. What on EARTH is going on and where are my files on my father???? I tried to use contact email or chat but Dropbox doesn't allow this for 2G subscribers. I AM FURIOUS and so frustrated I can't reach their support team. 😤 😪😪

Hey Adrienne8 - sorry to hear about this.

Is it possible that you have another Dropbox account, associated with a different email address of yours perhaps?

Could you maybe use the self-served look-up tool to find the email address that's linked to the charge you mentioned?

Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

Adriienne888, did you check your Deleted files and Events page? Is there any trace of your missing files there?

Apart from that, how were these files uploaded to Dropbox in the first place? Did you use the desktop app, by any chance?

Let me know and we’ll go from there.
