Excel worksheet with a link

Someone shared an excel worksheet with a link. When I click on it there's a message telling me it didn't work. Could anyone help me?

It sounds like the link is invalid, was created incorrectly or the file removed. Contact the owner and request a new shared link.

Open the workbook that contains the broken link. On the Data tab, click Edit Links. The Edit Links command is unavailable if your workbook doesn't contain links. In the Source file box, select the broken link that you want to fix.

Also, try to get the new link from the person who sends it to you and try again.

    Regards,
    James
