The files I upload to my mobile app take a lot of space from my iPhone 15.
I have an iPhone 15 pro max. I use Dropbox to back up from my computer and iPhone. Here’s the problem. In uploading pictures and videos from the iPhone to Dropbox via the app. Then I delete the videos from my phone. I’m doing this to increase memory in my iPhone. The problem is that the Dropbox app now has 88gb in the iPhone. If it’s in the cloud on Dropbox, why is it taking up storage space on the app? Can this be fixed?
Dropbox says I've exceeded my quota, even though I've already upgraded my account.
Hello thanks for checking in. I have PURCHASED Dropbox on my Windows 10 computer and uploaded an important folder but when I come to download it on both my IPads it is saying I have exceeded my qouta and need to PURCHASE Dropbox. Obviously this is incorrect as I have purchased the program. Up to now I am not impressed with Dropbox as surely the fact that I have bought the program should mean I can AUTOMATICALLY use it on ANY of my devices including my IPhone without difficulty. I only bought Dropbox as I could not get my around ICloud but there again maybe being 84 years of age does not help. Thanks for any help. PD.
Why does the mobile app say I have no storage space on my device when I do?
I have Dropbox iOS app and a Plus account with 2TB space. I'm currently uploading all my phones pictures and videos but started getting a message saying my device storage is full. I checked and I have plenty of space on my iPhone. I also noticed that the size of the app on my phone goes up from 1gb to 20gb+ at different times. It looks like an error to me but I'm not sure how to try fix it. I also can't confirm if all my pictures and videos uploaded because the web app is so slow that I can't see what the most recent uploads were. Anyone get a similar message of no storage space when there is some?
