Hi, I am using dropbox plus trial now. I have all the folers saved to dropbox online now, then today I installed dropbox app to my windows 11 laptop. Since the files are so large, so I only select some folers to sync to my deskstop dropbox app, all other folders are saved to dropbox online. Question, there is one folder, which is available online, how to sync the folder to dropbox app? thanks!18Views0likes1CommentThe syncing icons on my files got moved after a Dropbox update
Da un aggiornamento di dropbox (attualmente ho installata la versione 212.4.5767), le icone di sincronizzazione (prima incorporate dentro a quelle dei file, in basso) sono finite a lato ben distanti... Così come mostrato qui a seguire. Grazie a chiunque possa darmi una mano a risolvere32Views0likes2CommentsI see duplicate Dropbox folders on Windows, after reinstalling the desktop app, and they both sync
Hi there I had a problem where I noticed one day about a month or so ago that my backup of my current computer had disappeared so couldnt access any files from my computer on my phone. The only way I could see to fix it was to reinstall dropbox on my computer which it fix the backup problem. However I now have a problem on my computer where my windows explorer shows two indentical dropbox folders. How do I remove of them without losing any files? Anything I do to one of the folders affects the other, they both have the same files and both sync. Thanks in advance.Solved6.7KViews1like29CommentsDropbox seems to be corrupting files…..
I’m afraid we’re are migrating away from Dropbox, however whilst doing so we have noticed the following issue…. (Windows 11 – Latest Dropbox Version). Hence we though this may be useful. Most of our 2TB files are stored as “Online” only using Selective Sync. We then change the file status to “Available offline” so Dropbox copies(sync’s) the files back to the local disk from Dropbox.com. After some time (several hours) the Dropbox app confirms that all files are sync’d and the Dropbox task bar icon also indicates a complete/no activity status. The PC is rebooted and Dropbox is then uninstalled When trying to view via the PC the now sync’d Zip, Jpeg, Docx some of the files are corrupted/won’t open. As a test using Dropbox.com we manually download a problem file using MS Edge and the files will open correctly. It would seem that the Windows Dropbox client indicates it has finished its jobs even through it hasn’t fully completed syncing … We've also noticed that the corrupted file vs good file byte size are the same. We could duplicate this fault. Any thoughts ?6.2KViews0likes17CommentsShared folders missing only in File Explorer on Windows, why?
I am struggling to see shared files on my PC at work. They show up on dropbox.com, my phone and mac at home. I have double checked the file names to be sure there are no "disallowed" characters. I have shared the folder and I have reshared each individual file. When I opened one of the files on my PC it said the file was last edited by the owner 423 years ago. We checked time and date on her mac and my PC to be sure that was not the issue. NOPE, those were fine too. This is the first issue I have had with sharing since we started using dropbox in 2008. Hoping someone might be able to talk me through this.114Views0likes2CommentsXmind always a conflict copy
Hello, I use Xmind. I use Dropbox to save my Xmind files so that I can work on them in both my Windows 11 desktop and my iPad Pro. When I save an Xmind file from my Windows 11 desktop, it appears as a conflict copy. I work on the files alone -- there is no collaboration; therefore, I am confused as to why I continually get conflicted copies. Likely the solution to this is something simple that I am missing. Regardless, I am looking to you all to help me to stop these conflicted copies from happening. Thanks much! DaveSolved86Views0likes5CommentsSyncing doesn't start automatically on Windows

Wie weet de oplossing?114Views0likes1CommentNew files I add to my Windows desktop app don't sync to the rest of my devices.
I have been a very basic DB user for years and just recently have a problem. We have a DB account with 2TB. We have three machines we use to access the DB account. One is a MAC, one is a desktop pc (WIN11), and the third is a laptop (WIN10). I generally have had no problem. We create folders and upload files to DB and can access them with all three machines. Just yesterday, I created a folder in DB and moved some files up into it using our desktop pc. I verified that they were there on the desktop. Since then they have not been visible or accessible using the MAC or the laptop! I don't get it. Is there some setting which is wrong? Fyi, I have confirmed that they are all logged into the same DB account. Help!363Views0likes7CommentsWhy are some files called 'auto recovery' appearing in my client's Dropbox folder on Windows?
