Watermarking issues
I upgraded my dropbox so I could add watermarks to my images. I set up folder automations to add watermark words to everything I added to that folder. At first, it wasn't working. I'd add images and they stayed the same. Then out of nowhere it worked. But it added 2 copies to the folder, one original and one watermarked. No big deal really. Then it changed on its own to only adding one copy. But it was a watermarked copy so I was happy with that. Then the next day I transferred and watermarked a handful of images and then in the middle of it all, dropbox stopped watermarking altogether. It has now been another 2 days and it still will not watermark. I've tried creating a new folder with a new automation, but still no watermarking is happening. Any thoughts on what the issue could be? Why was it so inconsistent from the start?
How do I unlink from my account a file shared with me by another user?
Hi, can anyone tell me if there's a way to unlink a shared file from my account? It's not my file, so I can't delete it (Dropbox might let me do so, but it's not my file so I shouldn't try). It's large and eating into my quota, and I don't want it on my Dropbox account. There is no folder containing it which I can unlink--just the file.
Cannot delete shared files
My boss shared a number of large files with my personal dropbox because she was dropping the business account. I saved what I needed and I now need to delete these large files but she has already deleted the business account. Dropbox wont let me delete them because they were shared, the business account has been turned off so she can no longer delete them either? I found a way to delete some individual files but my dropbox still shows that I have 14gb of space being used. Any ideas to get rid of shared files when the original account is gone?
How do I just simply delete a shared file
Just want to delete a file (it was a video) shared with me. No "delete this file" anywhere to be seen. "Shared" is only ask the person that shared this you'd like to share with someone else, or download or save or keep or archive or. or .... just want to delete it. Simply. Not have to spent hours searching or posting or creating a thread. Just want to delete a file. Or read suggestions that aren't pertinent.
