Cannot delete shared files
My boss shared a number of large files with my personal dropbox because she was dropping the business account. I saved what I needed and I now need to delete these large files but she has already deleted the business account. Dropbox wont let me delete them because they were shared, the business account has been turned off so she can no longer delete them either? I found a way to delete some individual files but my dropbox still shows that I have 14gb of space being used. Any ideas to get rid of shared files when the original account is gone?

Hey Jeff J, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
I assume you're referring to folders that your boss shared with you, right?
Can you give us some more info on why you're not able to delete these folders? What kind of error are you getting?
Have you tried following these steps, to remove your access to the folders?
Keep me posted.

Well somehow it has all worked out. The files are now gone and the storage issue has resolved itself.

I'm glad to hear that, Jeff!
