Dear community, I'm here to advice that the support have been denying us additional space for two weeks, first telling us that there was a momentary problem, then that we had made a request before the 7 days, then again (after waiting 7 days) that there is a problem which however is not written by Nowhere. We're really worried about that because they don't give us any timelines and the fact that the problem doesn't exist on the dropbox status page and that nobody else talks about it seems a bit suspicious. I don't like writing these posts but we are really worried don't you think? Are any of you having similar problems? do they only have it with us?116KViews14likes615Comments"Your dropbox is full" but it isn't
On Mac air with newest OS. I uninstalled the app, checked the hard drive, restarted the computer, barked at the moon, clapped twice and prayed to allah. The problem remains. I refuse to pay to upgrade. I cannot sync additional files.Solved117KViews10likes51CommentsIncorrect dropbox space usage on windows
Hi Guys, My local Windows Dropbox is fully synced with my online Dropbox. Windows Explorer file/properties shows my Dropbox folder is 576 MB but to my surprise, dropbox.com and dropbox app both say my dropbox is full. I have checked the plan tab and found my regular file size is 3.4 GB which is not correct. My shared folder only takes less than 100 MB. What is going on here? Why the discrepancy? Any inputs? Thanks, TaoSolved62KViews3likes675CommentsMy account keeps saying it's full - but it isn't
Hi - I have a 6.3 GB basic account with less that 1.2 GB of data in it, but I keep getting notifications saying the account is full, and it isn't syncing. I've double checked my folders and cleaned out all deleted items, but it makes no difference. I have been unable to contact any sort of support through the website, so am hoping someone might know how to fix this. Thanks.33KViews3likes364CommentsLost earned storage data after downgrading subscripiton
I have used drop box for many years for free and had accumulated 5.75 Gb of extra storage space from inviting friends to dropbox. For the last few years I needed more space so got a Plus account. Recently, I downgraded back to a free Basic account and, although in my history still says that I have earned 5.75Gb of storage space, my account has reverted to only the 2 gb that one gets when signing up for free. It seems impossible to contact dropbox support. Does anybody know how to get those lost Gbs back??? Many thanks in advanceSolved7.8KViews2likes19CommentsDropbox writes me "out of space" but it's not true!!
Hello everyone! Suddenly Dropbox wrote to me that my space is full, I checked the folder on my desktop and it only contains 1.88 gigs, not 2! Checking on Dropbox online, I saw that it indicates that I occupy 6 GB out of 2, but I have only inserted files for 1.88 gigabytes! Where are these other files? On the status it tells me that 4 gig files (that were on the desktop) have been uploaded , but they are not inside the Dropbox folder. I also checked on shared files and there is nothing! I can't upload anything anymore! Can anyone help me? Thank you!Solved3.1KViews2likes5CommentsGot a message that my account is nearly full but what is Dropbox and how does it work?
Can someone offer a very simple exclamation without any technical language of what drop boxes and how it works. I'm not knowingly using it but I do use MSone drive and iCloud , I keep getting messages saying it's nearly full but I don't know what is nearly full! Also trying to find a telephone number to dropbox to speak to someone but it doesn't seem to be possible does anyone know of a number? I don't know why I'm getting these emails that tell me "Your Dropbox account has less than 1 GB of storage left." According to my Dropbox account I'm Using 6.26 GB of 9.76 GB. That's a fair amount more than the "less than 1GB" available noted in this email.664Views1like9Comments
