Dropbox writes me "out of space" but it's not true!!

Hello everyone!

Suddenly Dropbox wrote to me that my space is full, I checked the folder on my desktop and it only contains 1.88 gigs, not 2! Checking on Dropbox online, I saw that it indicates that I occupy 6 GB out of 2, but I have only inserted files for 1.88 gigabytes! Where are these other files? On the status it tells me that 4 gig files (that were on the desktop) have been uploaded , but they are not inside the Dropbox folder. I also checked on shared files and there is nothing! I can't upload anything anymore!

Can anyone help me? Thank you!

Could you take a look at your backups page, to see if there are any backups taking up your space?

Let me know what you find.

Yes, it is absolutely that! I noticed it last night, after writing the post in this forum. Automatic backup was turned on, I didn't notice that. Now everything is fine!

Thanks a lot for the answer!!! 🙂

I have the eact same problem but my available space occupied even less. I have tried repeatedly nto notify Dropbox but bthe bot cannot even comprehend my problem. I only add photos, it is a private account and I do not share anything. I have screennshots to show but I imagine it would not help since there are others with the same problem and nobody seems to be getting any response

I actually do not need anu mpre spacw and I do not need an u[grade
