External collaborators list got removed from admin console 'members' tab
Dropbox recently removedExternal Collaborators tab from Admin Console > Members menu. This was a fast and easy dashboard to see all external collaborators and each shared resource they have access to.Reached out to support and now only option to review external collaborators seems to be through the clunky Admin Console > Security > External Sharing menu.The oldExternal Collaborators tab in the Members menu provided much better security auditing for team admins. Please bring the original External Collaborators dashboard back to the Members menu.
Is the "Time left to sync" view removed again?
I just noticed earlier this week that the time left in sync is missing again from the usual display area of the desktop app. This is on Windows 10, dropbox desktop app version 206.4.6506. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Or, is there a setting that has been added to change the display functionality of the Time left in sync? While it may seem like an afterthought, I use this function almost daily to give clients an idea of when they can expect a file to be uploaded (because lets face it, some clients are almost always in a hurry). If this was removed, can it be added back?
The Dropbox sync status icons look different on my Windows computer
Kindly note that the drop box icon status look wrong , for example if i save the folder to view offline the status not became dark green , the status disappear, if i want to to save online a brown box appears . Kindly note that i change the ShellIconOverlayIdentifiers and make drop box to appears first by add space then f5 for allShellIconOverlayIdentifiers but the issue still then restart pc and i uninstall the onedrive , i afraid that onedrive effect on it , but same issue look to attached image some time a transparent x appears as status. how to make it works normally? i try to remove app data and try to uninstall the drobox but same issue
Add option to hide sync status icon in the desktop app on Windows
Many times I share my screen in meeting and i don't want the participants to know that I'm syncing to Dropbox. So if you can add an option whether to hide or show 'sync status icon' in the desktop files so no one -but me- would know whether i'm syncing or not. Currently everyone in the meeting can know which files i'm syncing exactly just by looking, and i have a lot of meetings so disabling Dropbox during meetings is not an option for me, I highlighted below what i want to hide or make it normal icons, kindly your support.
Both green check mark and cloud icon on folders which I marked "make available offline" on Mac OS
Apple M1 Pro 16GB RAM macOS Sonoma 14.4 Dropbox v194.4.6267 For some time now I have been unable to set files or folders as "available offline" in actuality. The check mark next to the file or folder changes to a green tick when I choose to "make available offline" but the cloud icon (seems this is a macOS icon, not a Dropbox one) remains and the file does not download unless I try to open it, at which point it downloads and becomes an offline file. I have scoured the forums and the only article I can find was from the Dropbox Beta some time ago and that didn't seem to get resolved. Does anyone have a workaround or solution for this? I also have Google Drive running on my Mac and thought this may be an issue so uninstalled it but no luck.
