Dropbox Photos tab loads forever on the site or mobile app
When I attempt to view the Photos tab in either theDropbox app, or on Dropbox web, it loads indefinitely. The loading bar cycles through its usual loading messages until it says “Almost there …” then loads no matter how long I wait. It is possible the issue may be due to the fact I recently removed a training data folder containing a very high number of images (~500,000) and now it's in a re-indexing loop, or something like that. It's been a week since that event. How can I fix this, so I can view all of my photos in one place again?
External collaborators list got removed from admin console 'members' tab
Dropbox recently removedExternal Collaborators tab from Admin Console > Members menu. This was a fast and easy dashboard to see all external collaborators and each shared resource they have access to.Reached out to support and now only option to review external collaborators seems to be through the clunky Admin Console > Security > External Sharing menu.The oldExternal Collaborators tab in the Members menu provided much better security auditing for team admins. Please bring the original External Collaborators dashboard back to the Members menu.
It's confusing when removing and managing devices on the iOS app
I was trying to update my account and clean up old devices today, and the icons on the screen to manage devices on the iOS app are confusing. They look like they should be to drag things up and down, but in reality there’s a drawer to drag left or you can tap to unlink the device. It doesn’t really make any sense and is unintuitive.
Add 'deselect all' to Photos section
I see that this idea has been suggested and closed many times. I have several paid accounts with dropbox including my personal and business accounts. We really need this simple option that has been around for decades! When we go to search our product images throughout months, then we cannot deselect. We will need to close the tab or start unselecting each photo. There is no option to unselect all or clear selection to start a new batch. It seems to be so trivial, and every single app has this feature. But every time it has been proposed by users, it has been closed.
How can I adjust the column width on the Dropbox website?
I cannot find an answer to my problem. I have seen it asked but no answers. I have a customer that uses Dropbox to share building plans and specifications for me to quote jobs. The folder names are being cut off so that I cannot read all of the folder information. I cannot find a way to adjust the column width or wrap the text. I am viewing Dropbox / the folders in a Chrome based browser. Below is an example of the problem.
