I've had a drop box subscription for a few years and at renewal, December 1st, 2022, I upgraded to DropBox Plus. Last week I had a blue-screen issue on my Desktop and took it to a repairman. He saved, documents, then (I suppose) cleared the hard drive, and then he reloaded Windows Home 10. When I got my computer back, I noticed I was missing programs - Reaper and Bluebeam. I was annoyed but not too concerned because I had purchase receipts and licenses stored in Dropbox. Then I noticed that Drop Box desktop short-cut was missing. I tried to log-in to DropBox but couldn't remember my password, so the DropBox Chat agent or bot sent me a password reset link. I used that to open DropBox, but all my files are missing. I paid a full year subscription in advance expecting secure cloud storage, but all my stored documents are gone ... very important documents for which there are no or very limited hard copies. Does anyone know how I can recover my old account? Hey, I have been paying 11.99 euros via paypal for a business account since June 28, 2022. Today I log in and my account is only a free account and therefore without direct contact options. In addition, all my linked data is no longer visible. In my Dropbox account, unfortunately, all statements have also disappeared. In Paypal, however, I can see the history of all my payments to Dropbox. The last payment was made on September 28, 2024. All my linked data is no longer visible. Dropbox help request! Who would like to take a look with me on a Dropbox issue? An old free team account will be canceled after tomorrow and all files will be deleted. Okay, no problem, the account is empty. But now Dropbox sometimes has folders linked together and I want to make sure I don't lose anything. I have a paid Dropbox account and my old free team account will therefore be canceled. Then I think it should go well. Right? Who wants or can take a quick look? Then I can let it go. hi, i was sharing several of my folders with a work dropbox account to enable me to occasionally view them at work during some legal processes. unfortunately a work device with access to to the work dropbox account via the app was stolen and somehow the theives managed to access the device, as this was evident through the purchase of gift cards. is there any way I can see whether my personal folders & files were copied or downloaded from the device? I had a paid account for many years. My credit card expired and I received an email saying: We weren't able to charge you $11.99 for your Dropbox subscription. Pleasecheck your billing informationto make sure it's up to date. After April 29, 2024, your account will be downgraded to Dropbox Basic, and your space will be reduced to its original amount.If this happens, none of your files will be deleted, but you'll have much less space to add new files to Dropbox. I have tried to log in to update my card but when I log in, there is nothing in my account, no history, no files, zero. I do not know what to do.
