Don't remove Dropbox Showcase !
Hello, I just heard that Dropbox Showcase was going to disappear. I am both sad and very upset to hear this news. A few years ago I decided to take out a Business subscription for this tool. This unique tool, almost perfect, that makes all the difference! Indeed, I use Showcase on a daily basis to respond to calls for tenders from my clients. Dropbox Showcase allows me to create a response where the customer can find videos references, images, quotes, .etc ... all this in an interactive and professional presentation. This tool is perfect in my opinion! The interface, the ease of use with being able to import your Dropbox files, .etc ... it saves me incredible time! It allowed me to show off my projetcs and win many calls for tenders! I have always had very positive feedback from my clients thanks to Showcase. You say today that you replace this tool with Dropbox Transfer, I am deeply sad because it really has nothing to do with it! I feel abandoned. I found InvisionApp which comes close but which is useless for me because I am a videographer and it is impossible to host videos in it. To my knowledge you were the only ones in this area, and no tool today will be able to replace what you had built! 😞 I don't understand your decision and I share with you my deep disappointment. 😞 Please, don't remove Dropbox Showcase ! 🙏 Bye, Olivier.

Hi Dropbox community - I'm a design researcher here at Dropbox. I'm curious about how you access Dropbox! How do you access Dropbox: the website,the desktop app (for mac/windows), and/or the mobile app (iOS, android)? For those you use, why do you use them? For those you don't, why not? Is there anything you wish you could do on one that you can't today? Why?
Remove Dropbox "Send with Transfer..." menu item from macOS Finder context menu
A somewhat-recent version of Dropbox for macOS has added the new menu item "Send with Transfer..." when right-clicking any file on your Mac, not just files in Dropbox. I know that Dropbox's Finder Extension can be disabled entirely. But this disables syncing badges and all Finder integration. I want to keep the Finder Extension enabled for the Dropbox folder itself... I just want to disable the global menu items when outside of the Dropbox. The similar "Move to Dropbox" menu item can be disabled individually: /Applications/Dropbox.app/Contents/MacOS/Dropbox --move-to-dropbox=False https://www.dropboxforum.com/t5/Dropbox-installs-integrations/Pleeeeease-does-anyone-know-how-to-permanently-delete-the-Move/td-p/13682 Is there a similar setting to hide the "Send with Transfer..." menu item individually? Remove "Login/SignUp" Popup window from dropbox transfer link
Hello, I just now noticed that as a paid user, everytime we send a client of ours a dropbox transfer link with our own branding, it upsells our own clients! With some pop up box about some log in into dropbox. I now that it has a "download only" on the bottom but this is not reseonable. We are users that pay dropbox for a service, dont upsell our own clients. I kindly ask the removal of this feature asap.
