Hello, I can no longer access my Dropbox account since the 6-digit code required to login is being sent to an email address that has been deactivated by my previous organization. I have read several posts in the community forums but so far none of them have been helpful. Is there a way to submit a support ticket or another way to authenticate my identity to recover my account? Here is a summary of my situation: 1) The email address linked to my account is not accessible and cannot be reactivated. 2) I have no devices linked to my account or that are logged into the account. 3) I know my password for my account and have successfully inserted it into the login page. 4) I am only on a Basic plan (free account) Any help is appreciated. A couple weeks ago someone from another company invited me to their Dropbox Business Team. I clicked on the link, but I didn't realize it was going to add me to their group so I contacted Dropbox about this and was told to have the Team Admin follow steps to change my account to a basic account. I sent the Team Admin (person from another company) the instructions and I got an email saying my account was deleted. I am not able to log into my account at all now. I thought this would keep my account but switch it from a Dropbox Business Account to a basic account. Is there a way to get my basic account back? I am trying to delete my Dropbox account, but I can't access the email address associated to my login. A third party setup my business email address and then stopped paying for it. I haven't had access to that email for almost a year. I just moved all my files out of Dropbox but would like to delete the account. My colleague has a problem with an older Dropbox-account which he wants to delete, but he doesn’t speak English. So I put the question to you in his name and I will give him a translation to Dutch of your answer. His name is [removed*] and his current basic account login is [removed*]. He can’t synchronize because he seems to have used the maximum of space available. Formerly he had an account login as [removed*] but this email address doesn’t exist anymore. Probably this account still exists, and is the cause of the overload of his basic account. He doesn’t remember the password for that login either. So he is unable to login to that old account: when he tries to login with “password forgotten”, a mail will be sent to his old email address that he cannot read and no longer exists. With his current account [removed*] he shares a few folders with [removed*] but the amount of space of these folders stays far away of the maximum 2GB. As a photographer is use Dropbox to transmit, store and handle my files. lately when running a search for the word "FIRE", the search function returned multiple pictures from my archive with flames in them. Question 1: has my Photography Archive been subject to Ai image analysis? (which it obviously has been...) - what kind? - by what tools? and most importantly, where did i concent to any of it? (yes i read the 'Legal' page thoroughly) disclaimer: as an event photographer i am involved in all kinds of Private, Open & Deeply personal moments from peoples lives, i have an Etheic Moral and Legal duty to protect my clients, partners, models, childrens & friends privacy, dignity and basic right not to have their likeness and very life be used to feed some data set somewhere withiout their knowlege and concent. i use Generative Ai tools as part of my personal and professional creative research, i see the potential, but am also aware of the possible implications. Hi I use four devices on Dropbox. Whenever I want to use the 4th device I sign out of one. This has worked for years. However, just recently I found I cannot sign out of my main computer it is always signed in. It never appears on the link of 'Which one do you want to sign out from'. Can anyone assist, please? Decided to install the dropbox application on my M2 MacBook. Company account was added, 2FA and SMS it worked. However when I try to add my personal account, I choose google as login, then I receive an sms and enter the code. The window just sits there when I send the code.
