Couldn't start trial due to "technical error", after trying to claim Seagate promotion
Hello, I have recently bought a seagate external storage that included a 180 day Dropbox Backup Plan. However, whenever I try to follow the steps to start the trial to upgrade my account, after putting all of my payment method information, I get immediately redirected to the dropbox home page with a red message at the top of saying "Couldn't start trial due to technical error". I've tried doing it on different browsers, looked online for help but cannot find anything, and since technically my account is still on a "basic plan", there is no way for me to contact support. If I could get any help it would be greatly appreciated, Thank You
Where is the Backup plan?
Does this exist only for a select audience now? I've searched on the website and cant find anything other than a page about it, but no links to actually subscribe to that option. I guess it's still in the works? I currently have dropbox plus and am using backup, but surprised to see that my backups are counting against my overall dropbox space (eating up over half of total 3tb of space, while my dropbox files are only 30gb or so)?How can I backup my computer with Dropbox instead of iCloud?
Hi I have just purchased DROPBOX PLUS with the intention of backing up my MAC but when I go through the set up I get a message saying that I should "stop iCloud back up first" but when I look at turning iCloud backup off it says that turning this off will remove all the files from the MAC so I am confused and scared. Is there any guidance on how to move from iCloud back up to Dropbox back up for people like me? Many thanks Steve
