I will be working on a spread sheet or reading emails when I get a message (see pictures) Remove "05-19-24 Azi & Stone 2.jpg and 40 other items from your Dropbox account and all devices? (file name and number not always the same) and without clicking on anything in Dropbox or on the dialog box, I have a full screen of files on my desktop. Some of these files are from my files in Dropbox and some are files that I have moved to trash. How can I stop this from happening? Each time it does, I have to go through each file and move them back to the folder they belong in.

Hello community. Thank you in advance for your help. So I downloaded Dropbox on my Windows laptop and on the same day I started having trouble with theeffectiveness of my laptop. I made a general review and saw that mylaptop's storage was full, and when I reviewedthe storage detail I realized it was the Dropbox folder that apparently downloaded all the data. I uninstalled the Dropbox app but the folder is still on my computer occupying memory. I thought it was a full backup, not the actual folder. I see all the files (580GB) on Dropbox online. Can I download the whole lot in one go? Are they safe or will Dropbox delete them forever? I now have no access to live chat...
How to stop Dropbox from creating desktop.ini files?
After dragging the desktop.ini file to the trash a few times, and seeing it re-created, I instead right-clicked and deleted it. So far (5 minutes or so), it has not been recreated. Maybe it's somehow related to a glitch in Windows 10? In any event, it's gone, for now.
Cannot delete PC Backup because Dropbox Backup Beta is blank
I have a PC backup I wish to modify or delete. I can go tohttps://www.dropbox.com/backups/PCbut when whenever I try to make any change it wants to open the Dropbox app. That would be fine but when I go to the Dropbox app, then the Backup tab, then click the Manage Backups button it opens Dropbox Backup Beta and that is blank without any backups to manage.
