We'd like to have a Dropbox Business plan with less than 5 licenses.
I agree. It's too expensive and the five user minimum is unreasonable. We are a three-person IT support team. We'd like to have a Dropbox for Business account so that we can remain intimately familiar with the features and speak intelligently when recommending services to our customers, but we don't want to pay for five users when we only have 3 (or possibly even two now).

I would like to see more options for the business plan, perhaps instead of making the business plan with 5 seats you can opt for a per seat pricing plan.

Love this idea. Could also just lower the number of licenses for business accounts to 1 from 3.

Funny how this is an "idea" that "needs more support" before they can share it with the team. The team isn't already well aware that people want more options for a larger amount of storage without having to buy three licenses??? It isn't like it is something that has to be developed. I really don't get it.... how would dropbox not make more money by offering more plans for individuals who WANT TO PAY MORE MONEY for additional storage??!!!???? I am not buying three licenses for myself, but I would happily pay a reasonable amount of additional money than I am currently paying for more storage.... Isn't this a no brainer?????
- BatmannyExplorer | Level 3A discounted and fairer price for one person businesses that want ALL the premium features but don’t need three licenses. I am forced to accept an inferior level of service if I don’t accept your terms or packages.

Small business does not always mean teams of 3 or more people, sometimes it's only 2 people. The available plans are for 3 members minimum. That said, a VERY small business (or nonprofit org such as ours) will be required to pay for 3 members even if we don't have 3 and do not intend to have 3. It should start at 2+ members. We would not mind paying for the 2 users, but in the meantime, if we are forced to pay for 3, we will have to cancel dropbox after all these years and move along to an alternate service.

Package for 2 people is needed.
Family package for 6 people is too many.

When you are a team of two and want to use dropbox business for teams, you have to pay for an extra seat because the plans starts at 3 person.
I get that this might not seam a big expense from a huge company perspective like dropbox, but it means that 33% of our cloud storage bill is for something we do not need. You would never suggest that to your enterprise customer... Please make the business plan start for 2 persons like Google allows for Google workspace - MeganDropbox StaffStatus changed:NewtoGathering SupportIf you like this idea, please share how this would help you, and vote to show your support. Our top-voted ideas are shared with our product teams to investigate in our regular reviews.

Hi everyone,
Good news, I am marking this idea as Delivered as Dropbox Business and Business Plus are now available for three users or more. We've also introduced Dropbox Essential which offers most of the perks of a Business plan, for a single user. You can find out more about our plans here.

Single users need more flexible options to upgrade storage without breaking the bank. For some of us, our 'business' is run just by ourselves and utilizes large video and audio files in the work we do.
