I'm now at 2.7T with a 3T account. It isn't obvious that I can move to 5TB or 10TB without changing to an account with features (and I assume price increase) that I don't really want. The pricing needs to be more flexible. One type of account should have a base fee and then a fee per TB / month much like Amazon, BackBlaze, etc.
I've now purchased a 20TB NAS, a cloud backup from one of your competitors, and plan to move off of Dropbox in two months. A lot of the reason is uncertainty. This is my life's data and I just have no confidence that Dropbox will grow and accommodate my needs as I grow and expand. Other competitors offer a much more transparent pricing model.
