You might see that the Dropbox Community team have been busy working on some major updates to the Community itself! So, here is some info on what’s changed, what’s staying the same and what you can expect from the Dropbox Community overall.
We started to use a paper for our team wiki, but when you have several categories and lots of docs/permitions, its hard to orient in data layers. Tree of it will be great 👍
Guys from https://www.notion.so made a good job on that, but they are to expensive for us at the moment.

Tree folder hierarchy for organising, sorting of our notes?? Paper would be complete. Currently using OneNote and hating it. Evaluating Notion.so, but I'd imagine Dropbox Paper will have more longevity.
I'd be happy to pay for Dropbox Paper, if it supported easier navitation of notes like Notion and OneNote.

- philnExplorer | Level 4If dropbox paper hopes to be something used for serious note taking, it will need some form of organization, whether that means integrating it into the dropbox folder, or adding hierarchical folders

The absence of this feature is the only thing driving us towards Atlassians Confluence right now ...
This also seems kind of related:

Using DropBox Paper as a company or personal Wiki would replace Confluence, Notion, Nuclio, MediaWiki etc. for many small companys :nerd:
The Editing Workflow is amazing. Sharing is amazing. Our whole Team just got the hang of it pretty quick. The only thing missing right now is the ability to easily structure a growing collection of documents. A simple intuitive tree view (with drag&drop functionality) would solve a lot of headache in the future. Yes there is a search function, we know... But sometimes it's just not the best way to explore a large collection of "Papers".
Folders + Tree View =
Keep up the great work folks :chart_with_upwards_trend:

They made some actions to make it but needs to be improved

Typing notes is incredibly fast with Dropbox Paper. So it replaces the actual paper for me. Now that I write a lot of different papers, I need to organize them as quickly as I type.
Taking notes is one thing, and Paper nailed it. Now it needs to invest in managing all our notes super fast. A tree hierarchy would solve that problem and would let us organize our notes the way we see it inside our heads already.

I have many docs and organising them in a hierarchy of folders and a tree view would be really useful. Thanks.

It blows my mind that this is not a thing. A core feature of dropbox itself is its file navigation; how this is not fully integrated into dropbox or, at the very least, has a tree for notes is a total product miss for me.

This was a pretty big deal breaker and I've had to move onto a competing product. Thanks
