Multiple Business accounts with the same email+2 Business accounts on the desktop.
I need multiple drop box teams for different customers. It is not practical for everyone to create multiple e-mail addresses for each dropbox. Is there a solution for one person to be on different teams without having multiple e-mail addresses?
- NorahDropbox StaffCurrently, you need to create an email address for each Dropbox account. Your request is not possible due to security and privacy reasons.Let me know if there’s anything further I can help with!

Hi guys,
I have two Dropbox business accounts, I think. Not my own, but I have been added as a user to two separate Dropbox business accounts via different emails.
On my macbook, my Dropbox folder syncs with one of them. I want to access the other account to use that. Can I switch between them, or have both of them syncing at the same time? I can't find a way to even sign-out of my Dropbox app on mac and into the other, only on the website, which is pointless as I need the sync ability.
I really don't understand why Dropbox is so darn complicated for having multiple accounts honestly, it's an absolute nightmare. Dropbox seems to be a different piece of software entirely on the website compared to the app.
Can someone please help me figure out how to sign into a different Dropbox account on the app so I can sync from another account?
Thanks.

We need the ability to sync multiple business accounts to a workstation. I have multiple dropbox accounts, and the inability to do so makes dropbox hard to use.
- JayDropbox StaffHi there, currently it’s not possible to have multiple Dropbox Business accounts syncing at the same time, only a connected Personal and Business account can do this. However, you could technically have different computer logins or profiles, and on each one have a different Dropbox Business account logged into the desktop app. This will allow them to sync to the machine under those profiles.Bear in mind though, that it won’t be syncing on the other computer profiles as they’ll be logged out, so you’ll need to switch computer login for each Dropbox account to sync completely.Hopefully this might help you out, depending on your circumstances.

As more and more entrepreneurs are running multiple businesses, It would be great if you could switch betweecn multiple buisness accounts on all devices. I have a personal Dropbox account and two different DropBox business accounts. It would be great to have toggle switch to switch between personal and business accounts and event to be able to select files on phone/ipad etc to upload files to different accounts.

It would be very helpful if possible to link 2 Dropbox Business accounts on one computer

I am an accountant and have multiple clients that I need to access company files. It is a real nuisance to switch between users on my desktop so that I can access the files for my clients. Please fix this as soon as possible!!!!

Hi, we have multiple dropbox business accounts across different divisions. Is there any way of one person being able to sync more than one dropbox business account on their devices or is the only way to manage this to share folders?

Hi, I work full time with more than one business that uses Dropbox Business Advanced.
I need to be able to regularly access files from both companies.
Can Dropbox please add the capability for one person to access/sync multiple Dropbox Business accounts on their desktop sync app?
- JayDropbox StaffHi there, this would cause issues for privacy, since it can be too easy to upload sensitive documents by dragging them into the wrong folder, which is why only personal accounts can be linked to business accounts. You can however have multiple user logins to your machine, and have the other business account signed in on that desktop app, though it won’t allow immediate access between the two accounts.

I own more than one company. Can I open multiple dropbox business accounts (yes, obviously) & can i be logged into all of these additional accounts on my iphone app all at the same time? How about on my PC in file explorer (Dropbox - Company 1, Dropbox - Company 2, Dropbox - Company 3) & having all my different companies always be syncing at the same time?

Hey there RyanT - how are you today?
As this is not possible at the moment I wanted to say thanks for sending along your feedback Ryan. I’ll be sure to pass your comments along to the team for their future consideration and as a feature request for an option to be able to sync 3 different accounts on your devices.
As you probably know, it is possible to have two separate accounts--your personal and work Dropbox accounts--on the same computer (and mobile devices) yet there's no such option for 3 accounts.
Note that if you need access to two (or more) different Dropbox accounts on the same computer the best option would be to create a second user account within your operating system for the second Dropbox account. However, you would need to log out of one user account and log in to the other account to switch Dropbox accounts. This may or may not be convenient for your needs.
Alternatively, you could link only one Dropbox account to your computer and access any others via the web interface only at: www.dropbox.com
I understand this is not optimal, yet, I hope this information helps to some extent. Please let me know if you have any more questions, feedback or suggestions and I will be happy to assist Ryan.
Thanks!

Can I have 2 dropbox business accounts on 1 computer? Or does it have to be 1 dropbox business account and 1 dropbox personal account?
- BobignoNew member | Level 2Please create a feature where one can sync multiple business accounts. Just as you did with the personal/ business accoint combination. Please add possibility to add more than just one business account. Many people nowadays work for different companies and need to access different dropbox business accounts.

Desparately needed feature. I use Dropbox only because clients use Dropbox; I find the interface and website/app logic confusing and illogical. Totally annoying to use.

Hey there (Andsampson), sorry to hear that you're feeling this way. If you don’t mind me asking, can you let me know just a bit more info about what appears frustrating while browsing on our website? I’d happily shed a bit of light if I can!

@Jane The website is unusable if you're using dropbox as a repository for developing software (i.e. Unreal Engine). The inability to sync multiple business accounts creates a problem for developers. Especially if you're part of multiple organizations, and the businesses are unwilling to connect dropbox to your personal account or any other account other than their company email.

Add me to the list of frustrated DropBox users. I own two businesses and not being able to access both DropBox accounts simultaneously is a non-starter for me. I hate to consider moving to Google Drive, but that may be my best option.
