Enable a larger thumbnail view for files on the website
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE enable a larger thumbnail view when in "files" folders. We have pix we need to be able to see more clearly!!!!!!

I don't know about the OP, but this is still a problem for me!
When I am in a folder, the pictures display in a file name list format which I like except that the thumbnails are 1x1cm - too small for reviewing. (Interestingly, if I send a link to a shared folder, that person has options for the display of the thumbnails - between file list (tiny thumbs like I have) and a grid display (like my 'Photos', but still inside the shared folder.)
I can get larger thumbnails if I go to "Photos" but there are several problems that make this NOT the solution to the problem:
a) I wish to be able to see the thumbnails INSIDE the folder in question - and not have to go to "photos" because this displays a mix of all my pictures and not just the ones in the shared folder in question.
b) "Photos" displays the photos in reverse order which is, well, stupid. While I'm asking questions, how do I change how the pictures in "Photos" display - ie how do I make them display in increasing order instead of the reverse?
Thanks.

YES WE ARE STILL HAVING ISSUES!! THUMBNAILS ARE STILL TOO SMALL

Evidently, there are hundreds of posts asking for larger thumbnails for months and years. I have vision problems and wonder how dropbox staff thinks that a 0.5" thumbnail is user friendly. Tthe current thumbnails are far too small.

I agree, it's ridiculous!

i have looked everywhere and tried every online storage solution and dropbox has it down to a science like nobody else. unfortunately they are where its at if you want the best- except they ignore their customers!

Actually, it isn't photo specific but check out Cubby. I have used it for several years and love it because you can create it and it doesn't move your folder. It allows you to share and keeps everything in sync. Dropbox requires you to move your file system into their cloud which disrupts your logic and organizational structure. Cubby keeps it where you have it. Worth a look.

Are there plans to update Dropbox so that the thumbnails are larger? No matter if I'm on my phone, tablet, or laptop, they are soooo tiny and it's hard to tell what the pictures are of. Please consider giving options to display fewer at a time on the page, so we can see what we're looking for - maybe small, medium, large...something. Thanks!!!

or at least consider folder structure in carousel and we will be happy with that alternative solution...

Apparently, users have asked for this for months--I've found requests for it going back into 2013.
Dropbox, we HAVE to get thumbnails that are bigger than a crummy half-inch in size! Dropbox is SO critical to so many things we do, and for it to be so shoddy at managing images is just so...well, 1995 Geocities of you! Seriously, this shouldn't even have to be an issue at this point; having large thumbnails (and/or an option to display them as a large "Tile" view instead of just a tiny left-edge "list" view) is simply obvious. It's the big flaw you haven't bothered to fix.

Time to look for other online storage solutions, besides Dropbox?
I am surprised to find SO many unanswered complaints about the thumbnail size. Joshua's 06/05/15 post states this quite clearly....

maybe they have gave up on reading the posts and instead track upvotes- try upvoting every request you see regarding thumbnail sizes and maybe it will register on their radar. look for other threads too- this is just one of many threads on the subject

Well, yeah--I mean, Dropbox hasn't given us larger thumbnails, have they? So unfortunately, I have to say that the issue persists. PLEASE give us larger thumbnails so we can properly manage our images.

an option for larger image views within the folder view is sincerely needed!

I seriously can't see my files with the tiny thumbnails. I have a paid account. Thinking I need to drop DropBox all together if this doesn't get fixed.

Hello. I would like to see the photos in my dropbox folders displayed in a larger thumbnail when I open the dropbox link, not merely as a list with tiny images to the left of the file names. I cannot find a way to do this, except by selecting "photos" which then displays ALL my photos currently on my laptop dropbox, not only the ones in a particular folder that I want to share. All those other photos are not meant for the recipient that I want to share only a particular dropbox link with. Please help. Thank you. Tina

I don't have an answer, but I have the same problem. If you have found a way to display the larger thumbnail photos, would you mind posting it here?

Hey Dropbox.
My first post on this was over a year ago (14.5 months to be slightly more precise). I've never had a response, nor has anyone that has posted following me.
Does anyone from Dropbox even read these discussions? What happened to 'Ed, the Dropboxer'?
No doubt you'd agree, this has gotten to be quite ridiculous.
Hello? Dropbox? Anyone home?
