Hello development team,
Would Dropbox ever consider offering different Folder Views (i.e. Extra Large Thumbnails, Large Thumbnails, Small Icons, etc).
The current "list" view with the extra tiny thumbnails are extremely difficult to view when viewing a folder full of PHOTOS.
When you look at a folder full of photos on your computer, don't you immediately switch to LARGE ICON VIEW? Dropbox web users would like the same feature.
Thank you.

Moved to Product Feedback.
And, for my personal opinion...
When you look at a folder full of photos on your computer, don't you immediately switch to LARGE ICON VIEW?
Never.

Very productive response Super User! Thanks!

I agree Yukon, I'd fine that very useful too. Super hard to see the images & I just want to select one or two for download.

I've just upgraded to the paid version ans want to sort/delete photos and i'm looking everywhere for the button to change view size but it seems according to this thread that you cannot?
I CANNOT BELIEVE It!!! I haven't come across this situation with any other program.
Dropbox is great overall but this is a HUGE LET DOWN making Dropbox just a storage facility but not a file management system which it could so easily be.
I really can't believe it, it's just so stupid.

Thank you, Ed, for your reply.
But I am now wondering two things:
- What happened to your original query/response to the OP (from ~ April 2015) to which I replied? Why has it been removed?
- When do you expect that this issue will actually be addressed? I see you've replied to many of the other threads on this topic (also back to April 2015) so Dropbox must surely have an answer by now. Here are just a few to jog your memory:

Or a more complete visual of the problem via a Google search:
It seems that there must be a magic word that we're not using properly.

After Google pulled the plug on Picasa, I am considering moving all my images to dropbox. The lack of a thumbnail view in the folders is a serious issue. The lack of being able to use tagging another. Finally, after some searching, I found light photo editing features, which is great, but quite hidden. All this could be made so much easier for the users!
Could dropbox please publish their feature development backlog, so that users have an idea when and if specific and very standard features such as these ones are going to be deployed?
Many thanks!

Hi Krista,
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on ways to improve Dropbox. While we may not actively post here, our team is constantly reading the feedback shared by you all.
I've already passed this on to our dev team but I'll add the latest comments to it.
Thank you

Julia unfortunately Dropbox has a policy of not releasing roadmaps :(
- metgirl1Explorer | Level 4Please can there be a facility to make the thumbnails in folder MUCH bigger they are tiny. It is very laborious to have to open each pic before I delete incase I delete the wrong thing by mistake. I am also confused by the timeline...... is this showing all my photos from all my folders at once? If I start deleting things off the timeline will they disappear its original location as well? That's nuts

- Bigger thumbnails make it easier for users to manage their photos.
- When photos become easier to manage they become easier to delete duplicates
- Deleting duplicates reducesthe space you need
- Less space = less revenue for Dropbox
- Ergo they are unlikely to prioitise this
